Profile

The projects shown in the gallery under both residential and commercial have all had their unique challenges and rewards. The process however, is the same for both. It is organic. It is collaborative. It is not necessarily the first choice. All projects are affected by time restraints, budgets, worldly weather and economics. Some things are worth waiting for, some things are not. The key to success is to make a thoughtful decision based on the circumstances and then, carry on.

There is the creative side to interior design and then there is the process. The mechanics that make it happen, the execution. Behind the scenes of a beautifully finished space are usually hundreds of man hours, telephone calls and e-mails. It takes a team of craftsmen, vendors, installers, builders and general contractors to make it happen. Client participation in the communication process is crucial for a positive end result. It is not a reality show.

After the blood, the sweat and the tears – it is all worth it.
