Private Residence Wine Cellar

This space created for avid wine collectors was a previous dungeon under the stairs. An unfinished space that had turned into a storage facility.  The “ Y “ shaped space created its challenges.  However,  the end results were an intimate tasting room with authentic finishes to century old techniques and a cellar with a barrel vault to house their growing collection.

Plaster walls, Brick arches, wrought iron wine racks, wood coffered ceilings and hand planed tabletops all selected to create a feeling of century old cellars.  

Incredible sound and lighting completed the experience. It was truly a gift to be able to work on this project. I will always remember the privilege of spending time in this beautiful space, enjoying amazing wine and great company.
