Macedo/Dixon Renovation

This re-work of the basement floor plan started with a flood. Enclosed, boxy and beige this family home basement was previously being used for storage. Marathon runners, school aged children and a lot of out of town family made for very specific space requirements.   

First, central closets and walls were removed to open up the general, "L" shaped space.  Storage was added around the perimeter for specific uses. Full closets in the work out area, central children’s desk, and custom media built-ins for family fun!

The awkward media space was converted into a cozy nook with the help of a pony wall and fabulous custom leather sectional! Lighting, colour on the walls and textured finishes all contribute to the new family get-a-way!
